At Supereight Studio, we thrive on pushing creative boundaries, and our passion for design recently earned us first place in the TYCHO Open Source DIY Competition.

The competition, launched by Scott Hansen (ISO50/TYCHO), invited designers to craft custom artwork inspired by the Open Source album’s aesthetic—an opportunity to explore Tycho’s signature minimalist, atmospheric visual style while adding a unique creative perspective.

After an exciting selection process, Matt Hamm, Supereight creative director's design was chosen for the final round of voting, where the Tycho community ultimately crowned it the winning entry. Being recognised by both Scott Hansen and a passionate creative community was a huge honour, and it reinforced our commitment to producing bold, impactful design.

This project was not only a testament to our ability to create visually compelling, conceptual work, but also a reminder of the power of community-driven design. We look forward to more opportunities to collaborate, innovate, and bring creative visions to life.
