Better Noise Music
Better Noise Music is an independent record label focused on rock, alternative, and heavy music, known for working with artists like Five Finger Death Punch, Papa Roach, and The Hu. Founded by Allen Kovac, the label emphasizes artist development, innovative marketing, and cross-platform storytelling, including collaborations in film, books, and digital media. With a strong global presence, Better Noise Music continues to push boundaries in the music industry, helping artists connect with audiences in new and impactful ways.
Better Noise Music partnered with Supereight Studio to completely overhaul their website, ensuring it could support their growing roster of artists while providing a seamless experience for both fans and internal teams. Their previous website had become difficult to manage, requiring manual updates that slowed down content publishing and limited integration with the platforms where their audience consumed music. Supereight was tasked with creating a dynamic, future-proof digital presence that would allow the Better Noise Music team to update everything effortlessly while integrating with multiple third-party services to showcase music, tours, and media in real time.
At the core of the redesign was the implementation of WordPress as a flexible and user-friendly content management system. Supereight customised the backend to give Better Noise Music complete control over their website’s content, from artist profiles and news updates to featured playlists and video embeds. By building a modular design system, the team could easily create and update pages without needing technical expertise, ensuring that new releases, announcements, and promotional campaigns could go live instantly.
A key aspect of the project was integrating various music and tour-related APIs, enabling real-time updates without manual intervention. Supereight connected the website to Bandsintown for automated tour date listings, Spotify and Apple Music for embedded playlists, and YouTube for seamless video content. Additional integrations included feature.fm for smart linking, Amazon Music, Bandcamp, SoundCloud, and Tidal, ensuring fans could access their favourite artists’ music on their preferred platforms. These integrations not only streamlined content management but also enhanced user engagement by providing a unified hub for discovering new music, purchasing tickets, and interacting with artists.
RESULTS
The result was a high-performance, visually compelling website that modernised Better Noise Music’s digital presence while drastically improving operational efficiency. With a WordPress-powered backend and deep third-party integrations, the Better Noise Music team can now manage their site with ease, keeping it fresh and up to date while providing an immersive experience for music fans worldwide.
