We love design
We’re a small, flexible and active studio and through our passion for design we craft simple and functional websites and mobile apps. We’re committed and enthusiastic about every project we take on and we simply love designing.
Great communication, lots of effort and consistent attention to small details helps us build lasting relationships and over the past five years we've worked with some amazing clients. We always take and shape your ideas and focus on simple, elegant and usable solutions.
We work closely with you, talking and discovering more about your project and through research and analysis we clearly define your business and user goals, design your information architecture and work through all the essential planning.
We take our research and start to focus on structure and content and work through conceptual design ideas. We use working prototypes and visual design to bring ideas to life and ensure we design a great interface for your users.
We bring your project to life with clean and standards-based code using the latest techniques and technologies. We ensure that your business and user goals remain a mantra through the lifecycle of your project up to launch and beyond.
Meet the founders of Supereight Studio
We’re friendly people with a passion for design and the web. We love what we do every day.
Matt is a talented illustrator and designer, a big Lego Star Wars fan and loves exploring new ways to push the boundaries on projects. You’ll often find him sketching up ideas in his Moleskine notebook whilst enjoying a fine glass of vintage red wine or cycling through the Oxfordshire Cotswolds fully clad in Lycra.
Pete is a sharp designer, UI fanatic, superb project manager and Typography is his middle name. He loves creating simple and usable responsive interfaces and has a wonderfully keen eye for detail. He enjoys his time offscreen by intensive training for elite triathlons in the Surrey hills in and around Guildford.
We're a small studio and design and UX is our specialism. We work closely with a number of trusted partners who specialise in branding and front and back end development. You'll likely talk to some of these guys as well when you work with us.
Simon shares our co-working space in Guildford and is a long time friend of Supereight. He runs Tangerine, a creative design practice based in Guildford with a focus on building memorable brands, attention grabbing print and effective digital media.
Andy is a front-end developer who runs Super Fantastico, a delightful little web development company based in Guildford, Surrey. Their development focus is design based and they specialise in responsive builds using the latest techniques and technologies. Andy also shares the Guildford co-working space with us.
Dan runs Decode. They build and maintain websites and applications for a wide range of companies in the UK and America. Working to the latest web standards and technologies, they specialise in both online payment platforms and responsive interfaces, usually built upon using their own framework.
Ed specialises in front-end development, hand crafting beautiful web interfaces - but also gets his hands dirty on the server-side too. He founded Blucube in 2001 and has taken on development projects for clients based all over the world, including a growing number of collaborations with Supereight. Ed shares our Oxfordshire co-working space with us.
What we love
We love to cycle into the office every day. As well as being eco-friendly, our bodies and minds are creatively fit and raring to go for all our lovely clients.
We love Apple products. We use our MacBook Pros, iPads and iPhones for work and play and because we love using beautifully designed things.
We love learning, developing and pushing ourselves and we embrace the latest ideas through lots of industry reading and conference-going.
We love being a small and personal team and working directly with you on all your projects. We love to talk and discover your ideas.
Supereight are easy to work with and translate your ideas well. Always exciting and fresh!
